Uhob Standard
Requirements for Uhob’s content verification for automated video distribution to booking platforms.
About
The Uhob Standard defines how verified travel videos look, feel and perform, so every Uhob meets the same level of quality.
As vertical video becomes an integral part of the booking experience, consistency and comparability are essential. Without a clear standard, visual quality, structure, and messaging vary widely — reducing trust and usability.
The Uhob Standard ensures a consistent visual language and reliable quality across all Uhobs, enabling booking platforms and travelers to quickly understand, compare, and trust the content.
One standard. Across booking platforms.
Key requirements
To ensure consistent quality and seamless integration across all booking platforms, Uhobs must comply with the following technical requirements:
All shots must be filmed in portrait mode (9:16) to ensure optimal presentation on mobile devices and across all booking platforms.
Each shot should last between 2 and 8 seconds to maintain clarity, pacing, and attention.
All shots must be recorded at 30 frames per second to guarantee consistent motion and compatibility.
All shots must be recorded at least in Full HD resolution (1,080 × 1,920 px) to ensure sufficient image quality, clarity, and compatibility across all booking platforms.
To avoid
Uhobs with any of the following characteristics do not meet the standard and can’t be verified:
- Composed of still images or photographs
- AI-generated content
- Overly filtered
- Black and white or sepia
- Graphically filtered with overlays, borders, or artistic effects
- Low resolution, blurry, or pixelated
- Sideways, upside down, or otherwise improperly rotated
- Added elements that do not reflect the actual offering
